Intersputnik at NATEXPO 2007
On 19-22 November 2007, Intersputnik took part in NATEXPO 2007 – an international exhibition of professional equipment and technologies for video, audio and IP broadcasting – hosted by the National Association of Russia’s TV and Radio Broadcasters, the Eduard Sagalayev Foundation for the development of TV and radio broadcasting, electronic media and Internet technologies, and ExpoNAT.
The exhibition was sponsored by the Federal Agency for the press and mass communications in association with NAB USA.
Intersputnik has become an active player on the satellite video broadcasting market owing to cooperation with Eutelsat. Under a distribution agreement signed with Eutelsat in July 2002, Intersputnik markets and sells Eutelsat’s satellite capacity and telecommunications services.
Today, in cooperation with Eutelsat, Intersputnik is developing a project for distributing a package of TV channels using the Eurobird 9 satellite at 9° E. Intersputnik invites video and audio broadcasters wishing to enter one of the world’s most vibrant satellite TV and radio markets to join this project at very attractive prices.
